Marian Hossa Drilled by Raffi Torres

Not a clean hit by Raffi Torres, as he targeted the head of Hossa, and left his feet. The NHL has been a little suspension happy in this first round of the playoffs so Torres should receive at least a three game suspension for this hit. Had Torres not left his feet then he would have drilled Hossa right in the chest, and it would have been one of the best hits of the year. Hossa was released from the hospital early Wednesday and is at home, there is no word on what his injury status is. The Phoenix Coyotes went on to win the game to take a 2-1 series lead over the Blackhawks.

***UPDATE*** Raffi Torres has been suspended 25 games for this hit.
