Bubba Watson Wins The Masters in a Playoff

When Bubba Watson hit his tee shot on the second playoff hole, few people thought he would be able to get it close to the green, let alone 15 feet from the hole. It was a great shot out of the trees that not many other players could even think about hitting. It was the shot that earned Bubba his first Masters victory, and first major overall. Bubba had two chances to end it, one 8 footer for birdie on 18, and then a second opportunity on the same hole in a playoff. Watson beat Louis Oosthuizen who double eagled the 2nd hole to vault himself to 10 under par early in his round. It was only the fourth double eagle in Masters history. With the victory Bubba moves to number 4 in the world, making him the highest ranked American in the world.
